TMU was honored to welcome President Dr. Larry Lyon and his family at chapel today.
Dr. Lyon shared his prayer that “TMU is the place where Christ is exalted in all things.” He encouraged faculty, staff, and students to be faithful to Christ, faithful to His Word, and faithful to His mission above all else.
The TMU community then had the opportunity to meet Dr. Lyon and his family and learn more about his heart for the Lord and for TMU. Join us in praying for the Lyon family and for TMU as we embark on this new chapter.

Out of an abundance of caution, TMU will open campus on a delayed start of 12:00 PM (noon) on Monday. Your safety comes first. Please use good judgment and do not put yourself at risk if travel conditions are unsafe. Normal campus operations are expected to resume on Tuesday. Students are to continue monitoring social media and the myTMU app for further updates. Stay Safe Bears!
