We are delighted that you are interested in becoming an international student at Truett McConnell University! An international student is someone who has not been granted or does not have US citizenship or permanent U.S. residency. In order for these students to study in the U.S., they must obtain an F-1 visa. Please refer to the following information in order to begin the application process.

International students applying for admission to Truett McConnell University must complete the following steps:

Step 1

Submit a formal undergraduate application.

OR

Submit a formal graduate application.

Step 2

Submit your transcripts from high school and any college courses you have taken. If you studied in the US, have the school send us your official transcripts. If your studies took place outside the US, you must have your coursework evaluated by inCred (playnaia.org/inCred). Please request a course-by-course evaluation.

Step 3

Submit official SAT/ACT scores, if you are planning to be a student athlete. Additionally, if English is not your first language, you must submit TOEFL, Duolingo, or IELTS scores. Address is listed below.

Submit the International Student Financial Statement that is located below.

After steps 1-4 have been completed, your file will be reviewed for acceptance or denial to the college. If accepted, proceed to step 5.

Step 5

Undergraduate and Graduate students view and reply to your application decision

Once you’ve received your acceptance letter, please log in to your Student Application Portal to view and reply to your Application Decision. Once you accept your application decision, you will submit your enrollment fee. (Link below)

  • Enrollment Deposit The enrollment fee is a $175 non-refundable fee, which secures your space at TMU and is required for placement in campus housing and course registration.
  • Disability Disclosure Form. This form should be completed and signed by the student. (See Special Support Services for more information).
  • Minimum Computer Standards. Review the minimum computer standards for academic work at TMU.
  • Final transcripts. Upon graduation, accepted high school students must submit a final transcript reflecting your senior year credits, grades, final rank in class, and date of graduation.  Transfer students must submit a final transcript of all work completed at all colleges and universities previously attended.
    •  In order to complete the Enrollment Deposit for the entry term, students must pay the $175 I-20 release fee.  The release fee is non-refundable and required before TMU issues an I-20.

Steps 6-8 must be completed prior to first day of class.

Step 6

Complete the TMU Financial Aid Application.

Once accepted (or provisionally accepted), to apply for institutional aid, you will need to complete the TMU Financial Aid Application online on the Student Financial Aid Portal (“NetPartner”). If you have not logged in to the portal before, you will select first time user and set up your account with your student ID number. Once the account is set up, you will need to complete the online financial aid application and submit it. The information will be transmitted to the Financial Aid office electronically.  However, if you cannot access the hyperlink above, copy and paste the following url address into your web browser: http://www.truett.edu/netpartner.

Step 7

Purchase a health insurance policy.
