Consistent use of color plays an integral role in ensuring that the University’s brand is visually unified.
Truett McConnell’s official school colors — TM Navy and TM Gold — serve as the primary color palette that should be featured in all communications, merchandise and branding in every school and department.
The secondary color palette of light blue can serve as an accent color. The accent color should be used only when TM Navy and TM Gold are prevalent in publications.
TMU assets are available in several combinations of TM Navy, TM Gold and white. It is important to consider proper brand application as well as contrast when applying a TMU logo. Examples of acceptable color combinations may be reviewed on the TMU Word mark – Emblem Lockup page.
The Academic Seal is the most formal representation of the Truett McConnell University (TMU) brand, and its use requires express permission by the Vice President of Academic Services. Review guidelines and request to download the Academic Seal.

There are a number of typefaces which the University uses on a consistent basis.
These fonts have been selected for their clean academic look and versatility and are recommended for use in all institutional publications (i.e. tests, syllabi, email, presentations, letters, etc.). Athletics publications should refer to Athletics Typography.
If you do not have access to the official University typefaces, please use one of the following options:
“The mission of TMU is to equip students with the Truth, through a Biblically-centered education, to fulfill the Great Commission.”

The following points may be used when referring to TMU:
The Office of Marketing and Communications can help you get the word out about your upcoming events and important announcements through the public website (www.truett.edu) and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube). If you are interested in print brochures, postcards, and handbills, we can help through design services as well.
One of the most effective ways to tell the TMU story and get the word out about who we are to the right constituents is to share stories and student and employee spotlights with our local, digital media, and the Echos Alumni Magazine. You can help spread the word by letting us know what is going on in your area or if you know someone at TMU who should be highlighted. Send your ideas to marcom@truett.edu.
Include as much information as you have, and we’ll take care of the rest.
