Our goal is to support the mission and tell the story of Truett McConnell University. In doing so, it is important to accurately and consistently represent TMU through branding visual elements and messaging.

The Office of Marketing and Communications has two primary functions:

  • To promote strong brand awareness of TMU internally and externally.
  • Support, empower, and provide guidelines for faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of TMU to meet their recruitment, retention, and communication goals.

  • Truett McConnell was chartered on July 23, 1946 to train up a generation of ministers to pastor churches and students who would love Christ.  This same vision stays intact and only grows and expands.

Echoes Magazine Story and Spotlight Ideas

One of the most effective ways to tell the TMU story and get the word out about who we are to the right constituents is to share stories and student and employee spotlights with our local, digital media, and the Echos Alumni Magazine. You can help spread the word by letting us know what is going on in your area or if you know someone at TMU who should be highlighted. Send your ideas to marcom@truett.edu.

Business Cards

Through this ordering system, employees may customize their business cards with horizontal and vertical as well as one- or two-sided print options. Follow the instructions below to order and pay, and contact the Office of Marketing and Communications if you need assistance.

Instructions:

  1. Create an account on the TMU Vistaprint Portal and follow the instructions to login, or if you have already created an account, login using the email address and password previously selected.
  2. Note card exampleUnder the product you wish to order, click “Customize and Order.” (NOTE: Athletics staff are required to select the options that use the TMU bear head logo. All other employees should select the options that use the TMU word mark – emblem lockup).
  3. Enter required content where appropriate, and make sure to unclick “Use Company Defaults.”
  4. Review your order and select a quantity. Make sure to order envelopes, as needed, to accompany note cards. Envelopes do not automatically accompany note cards.
  5. Follow the instructions and use your departmental credit card to purchase. (NOTE:  Orders should be approved by your cost center).

  • Enter the names and titles exactly as they should appear on the badge or upload a file that contains the names and titles. NOTE: Two lines looks best but three lines will fit on the badge.
