The Academic Seal is the most formal representation of the Truett McConnell University (TMU) brand and should never be used in tangent with other brand elements as it possesses its own context and could be considered repetitive. Its components symbolize our slogan, From the Very First Verse (Bible, Gen 1:1 and Veritas Immortalis) to the Very Last Tribe (globe, Matt 28:18-29). Use of the Academic Seal requires express permission by the Vice President of Academic Services. The Academic Seal is pre-approved for the following institutional communications:
- President’s Office stationery
- Diplomas and student notifications of academic distinctions
- For SACSCOC (Southern Association of College’s and Schools Commission on Colleges) materials toward accreditation
If you would like to request the use of the Academic Seal, please submit the form below, or if appropriate, consider using one of the institutional, school or departmental logos on your communication.
