TMU offers many leadership opportunities for students who are willing to serve their peers and the college community.

As a Student Life Leader, you’ll the have opportunities to assist others through various responsibilities around campus. These include tasks such as helping your fellow residents with questions,  planning programs and activities, and even participating in missions opportunities. If you’re interested in a leadership role at TMU then be sure to monitor your student email for more information as positions become available.

Resident Assistants

Resident Assistants (RAs) are representatives of the university that facilitate the community of their residence halls. Responsibilities include building relationships with residents, assisting residents with questions about campus, planning hall programs, responding to emergencies, and much more. RAs are also required to attend Student Life Staff training during the summer. RAs are typically hired during the spring semester for the following academic year.

Student Life Leadership Council

Students on the council represent the university and facilitate a variety of different events and aspects of community on campus. This council consists of the called, equip, serve, and send teams. These teams work in various ways to facilitate worship at chapel, student life events, bible studies, and missions activities. SLLC council members are required to attend Student Life Staff training during the summer. Applications for the SLLC typically come out during the spring semester for the following academic year.
