CLEVELAND, Ga., (TMNews) – Truett-McConnell College’s Music Division presented a portion of its Annual Christmas Concert, “The Sounds of Christmas,” in the December 4th chapel.

Dr. Ben Caston, head of the TMC Music Division, introduced the program which featured songs such as “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “Star of Bethlehem.”

A variety of groups performed, including the handbells, choir, percussion ensemble, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble. The audience also joined in through invitational sing-along songs and carols.

Ending on a strong note, Seniors Jonathan Peacock and Lauren Chancey produced a moving performance of “The Prayer,” and Caston closed “The Sounds of Christmas” with an invitation for everyone to attend a slightly longer version of the concert at 7pm of the same day.
