According to the Online U’s 2020 Most Affordable College list, Truett McConnell University (TMU) ranks as the tenth most affordable online law enforcement degree in the nation. The list of 25 law enforcement degrees are all under $15,000 per year. TMU’s tuition for the program is listed at $10,850.
“The Michael Sattler School of Public Service is our newest school, being just a few years old. Yet, in record time, the diligent efforts of our faculty have elevated the program to national notoriety,” said TMU President Dr. Emir Caner.
“How grateful we are to be nationally ranked in the top ten for affordability out of hundreds of programs,” added Caner.
To be considered for the subject rankings, Online U chose schools regionally accredited that offer at least one fully online degree in a given subject for the degree level of the list. Program data included available degrees, tuition rates, and details about program coursework collected from official school websites.
“We are thrilled to receive this ranking within The Michael Sattler School of Public Service,” said J. Marie Griffin-Taylor, Dean of The Michael Sattler School of Public Service and Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. “TMU offers criminal justice degree programs with multiple concentrations taught by scholar-practitioners from diverse criminal justice backgrounds with a Christian worldview.”
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice prepares someone interested in entering the field as well as experienced law enforcement professionals. Specifically, the concentration in law enforcement provides the required knowledge for those entering a law enforcement career and expands the skillsets of those currently working in the field of law enforcement at the local, state, and federal level.
“More affordable costs help us realize our goal of providing greater opportunities for prospective students to enter into and advance within their called mission field by giving them training aligned with the needs of our criminal justice community,” said Griffin-Taylor.
