Cleveland, GA (March 04, 2011)-  On February 18-19, Dr. and Mrs. Ben Caston sponsored five TMC music students at the Georgia National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Student Auditions held at Shorter University. The students included Kayla Yearwood, Nikki Cross, Heather Palmer, Eric Robbins, and Steven Hopper.

This was a great musical opportunity for these students to sing for outside adjudicators and see how they stack up against singers their age across the state. They represented Truett-McConnell very well,” said Caston.

Soprano Heather Palmer placed third in the semi-final division of the Senior College Women Division. Next year, the music department hopes to take at least 15 students to compete at the NATS auditions.
