Truett McConnell University (TMU) Vice President of Advancement, Dr. Stacy Hall, announced today that Danny Hendrix has been appointed Associate Vice President for Development & Church Relations. This newly created position will play a significant role in the ongoing success of the university and its future growth. In this position, Hendrix will cultivate and maintain positive relationships with donors, prospective donors, and churches while implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies that help meet the university’s needs.

Of Hendrix’s appointment, Hall commented, “After a thorough search for the right candidate, I am thrilled to announce that Danny has joined our staff. Danny and his family are passionate about TMU and understand our mission and culture. I have every expectation that Danny will play an integral part in our ability to advance this university.”

Of his appointment, Hendrix said, “My wife and I are so excited to come back home to Truett McConnell University! Both Hendrix and his wife, Heather, are graduates of Truett McConnell University. In addition, all three of their sons have attended TMU, Hyatt, Truett, and Ellis. Hendrix has spent over 30 years in ministry and 13 years directing and fundraising for non-profits. Most recently, Hendrix has served as the Owner/President of TeamMaker, LLC – a firm that provides Christian coaching services to a portfolio of
businesses and their employees. Hendrix will officially begin his new role on April 1, 20024. He and his wife are currently members of Pine Level Baptist Church in Cairo, GA.
