Keys for Mission
We would like to purchase these in honor of Dr. Becky Lombard who served Truett McConnell University for 14 years.
Our goal is to present and dedicate these pianos on Saturday, November 16 at our Pops Dessert Concert in the Harris Athletic Complex. (We have not settled on the time of the concert.)
Goal: To purchase 5 new studio pianos for music school (app. $6000 @ 5 pianos – $30,000)
Dr. Becky Lombard’s call to church music ministry began at an early age. For decades she has served as church musician, professor, mentor and denominational leader.
Over her career, Dr. Lombard has taught, encouraged and inspired countless students helping them discover and sharpen their gifts in preparation for a life of service to Christ through music.
Most recently, the last 14 years, Dr. Lombard has served Truett McConnell University as professor of church music. Upon her retirement in May 2024, the music school desired to honor Dr. Lombard’s life and ministry in some tangible way. The “Keys for Mission” campaign has been established, in honor of Dr. Lombard, to raise funds for the purchase of 5 new studio pianos for our music school. Your contribution to this campaign will help inspire and bless students for years to come.
