What time will the SWC be open for use?

The SWC will be open at the following times:

  • Monday- Friday: 6:00 a.m. – Midnight.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – Midnight
  • Sunday: 3:00 p.m. – Midnight

Where should I go to complete an application for memberships?

The SWC staff welcomes anyone interested in memberships to visit the SWC and tour the facility. Applications will be available at the SWC welcome desk for anyone that is interested. Our staff will happy to answer any questions you have and to talk through membership packets.

When will memberships be available?

Information regarding memberships will be published at a later date. Until then, you may ask to be added to a contact list so we can update you on the process for members and start the application process for the SWC. Email to be added to this list.

What amenities will be available for use in the SWC?

The Student Wellness Center features a walking track, a fitness center, a leisure pool, two racquetball courts, three full basketball courts, and an aerobics classroom for students, faculty , and staff to enjoy. With state-of-the-art fitness equipment and helpful staff, the facility offers a wide range of opportunities for a healthier lifestyle including fitness classes, nutrition seminars, and recreational sports to promote active living. TMU Wellness will offer the following classes throughout the year:

  • Strength and conditioning
  • Weight training
  • Circuit training
  • Yoga
  • R.I.P.P.E.D.
  • Cardio dance
  • Low impact cardio
  • Bootcamp

The Student Wellness Center is also a central place to enjoy campus community. Students can meet friends for lunch at the conveniently located restaurant or relax in the lounge areas which will house soft seating, televisions, ping-pong and pool tables.
