Truett-McConnell College is pleased to announce the employment of a new professor in Music, Dr. Becky Lombard. Dr. Lombard brings with her over 40 years of music performance experience. She has served as President of the Baptist Church Music Conference, Dean of the New Orleans chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Conference Leader at Ridgecrest and Glorieta, Keyboard Specialist for Louisiana Baptist Convention, and in numerous churches from 1961 to the present. She has her Bachelor of Music Education from Oklahoma Baptist University, and her Master of Church Music and Doctor of Music Arts from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She has taught in higher education since 1987 at institutions like New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of Mobile.
We are honored and excited that the Lord has led her to us and look forward to how the Lord will use her here at Truett-McConnell College.
