Cleveland, GA (October 20, 2010) – Truett-McConnell College hosted a reunion for the class of 1960 on Friday, October 15, 2010.

The reception was held at Sewell-Plunkett Chapel and the Class of 1960 also celebrated with the classes of 1959 and 1961.

The celebration began with a welcome speech by Bob Skelton and special music led by alumni Bill Hall and Dale Ingram. Matt Paul, the alumni association president, prepared a video presentation with numerous photos that reminisced about the past. Mrs. Betty Akery Walker, an alumnus, led the devotion and the memorial service, humbly stating “If I could live my life over again, I would do a lot of things differently, but one thing I would do the same is go to Truett-McConnell College.”

The alumni then had lunch at the TMC Bear Cave which was followed by the presentation of the 2010 Outstanding TMC Alumnus Award. The award was presented by Dr. Mike Simoneaux to Ronald Trotman from the class of 1959.

TMC was excited to host our alumni and is thankful for their continual support.
