CLEVELAND, Ga. (TMCNews)—Truett-McConnell College faculty and staff gathered Jan. 19 to celebrate the upcoming births of Avery Kate, Jack, and Zoe.

TMC Head Softball Coach Jenni Shepard and husband Josh will celebrate the birth of twins, Jack and Zoe, due in mid-February. On deck is TMC Assistant Softball Coach Kevia Elkins and husband Jason, who are expecting their daughter, Avery Kate, at the end of March.

“We’re very excited,” Elkins said.

With a safari-themed nursery awaiting the twins, Shepard added that, although she was surprised when she heard of two babies, she is thrilled for their arrival.

The soon-to-be mothers were appreciative as faculty and staff showered them with gifts ranging from blankets, bibs, and nursery organizers. Truett-McConnell extends congratulations to the Elkins and Shepard families in anticipation of their babies’ arrivals.
