Truett McConnell University (TMU) is excited to announce that Carol Anne’s Café received the award for “Property of the Year” from MMI Dining Systems.

MMI Dining Services, a distinct division of The MMI Hospitality Group manages

foodservice operations on 66 properties throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana, including private schools, colleges, healthcare facilities, and others.

Ronnie Cockayne, President of MMI Dining Systems along with Dave McEwen, Vice President of Operations at MMI Dining Systems presented the glass vase award Wednesday morning during an award ceremony in Carol Anne’s Café addressing staff members.

“There are many expectations on our list we must check-off in order for a property to win this award. Among those are meeting financial goals, customer satisfaction, and exceptional social media­–all of which you have exceeded,” said Cockayne.

Accepting the award on behalf of Carol Anne’s staff was Kevin E. Krzeminski, General Manager of Dining Services. “To be recognized as the “Property of the Year” within an organization that strives to be the best is awesome!”

“More than that,” added Krzeminski, “the Carol Anne’s Café family are some of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Almost the entire staff have been here for several years now and truly love the job they do and the people we do it for.

Dr. Jason Graffagnino, TMU’s Vice President for Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer said, “The award indicates a property that excels at food quality, customer service, financial responsibility, and overall operations. This year, Kevin and his team were the best of the best! We are proud of them and our students, faculty, and staff are extremely blessed through the service of MMI on our campus. Congratulations to Kevin and his staff and all that they provide for us. A well-deserved honor indeed!”

“When the students come in, you know them by name and they know you,” said TMU President Emir Caner during the award presentation. “You have each been a crucial part in making a place of comfort for these students. We are grateful for each of you and what you mean to this university.”
