At Truett McConnell University, student success is a shared goal, and no one is more invested in that success than parents and families. To better support this partnership, TMU has launched the TMU Parent Portal, a new online platform powered by CampusESP.

This user-friendly resource offers parents and family members personalized access to timely information, helpful tips, and university updates that can help them support their student’s academic journey and campus life.

While first-year families may find the portal especially helpful as they navigate the transition to college, parents of second-, third-, and fourth-year students are encouraged to join as well. The platform includes a wide range of content, including important dates, campus announcements, and information on services that promote student success at TMU.

The goal of this platform is to provide families with the knowledge they want and need to help their students excel in college academically and enjoy their time at TMU. Rebekah Scott, TMU Digital Content Specialist, said, “Parents and families want to hear from their child’s college and want to understand how to help their students navigate this new experience. At TMU we know that family support is critical to student success; by providing this new platform we hope to get families more involved at TMU as we partner together to see students grow in their faith and prepare for their calling.”

Parents can choose the news and information they wish to receive through the TMU parent portal by selecting from a variety of online communities, including Student Success, Student Life, Campus Safety, Housing, Financial Aid, and more. Families can join new communities any time by selecting the “Discover Communities” button on the bottom left-hand column of the platform homepage.

Families can also choose the frequency in which they receive news and updates by clicking the person icon at the top right of the homepage and selecting “Edit Notification Preferences”. Additionally, this platform includes a comments feature that can be used to ask questions of TMU staff and connect with other families.

To access the TMU Parent Portal, please visit tmu.campusesp.com and enter your email address to sign up. Answer a few questions, and all the information will be available at your finger-tips. Be on the lookout for a welcome email confirming you have signed up. Parents, we are ready to partner with you!
