CLEVELAND, Ga., (TMNews) – The Truett McConnell College Community Choir and Orchestra presented Handel’s Messiah at First Baptist Church Cleveland under the direction of Dr. Ben Caston, Thursday, November 20.
A full house with standing room only, the audience was treated to a program with numerous arrangements that included, “For Unto Us a Child is Born”, “Glory to God” and the “Hallelujah Chorus”. The sounds of violins, oboes, trumpets and other instruments accompanied over 60 singers in the TMC Community Choir. The program ended with a standing ovation and audience members were given the opportunity to make a donation to the upcoming Chorale mission trip in England and Scotland in March 2015.
