Cleveland, GA (December 13, 2010)– Truett-McConnell College would like to thank the following faculty and staff for their many years of hard work at TMC and wishes them all the best as they embark on this new chapter of their life.
Dr. Roy Hardy
– Dr. Hardy was hired in September 1997. He served as the Math Department head for many years in addition to teaching. He also served as interim vice president over the Administrative Services office during the transitional period of 2007-2008. He and his wife, Sharon, plan on traveling and enjoying family.
Mr. Mike Cordes
– Mr. Cordes was hired in August 2000. His readiness to teach both biology and math has been an incredible blessing to the College. He and his wife, Deborah, plan on spending a lot of time traveling and being outside, starting with hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Ms. Bonnie Akins
-Ms. Akins will be leaving Truett-McConnell College after serving the College for five and one-half years. She worked in Administrative Services and also in Student Services. She plans to spend more time with her grandchildren.
These TMC faculty and staff have tirelessly served the College and its students. We thank them for their love for Truett-McConnell College, the students, and quality education. We also pray God’s richest blessings on them as they continue on in their life’s journeys.
