Truett-McConnell College would like to congratulate the 2009 Homecoming King and Queen—Nathan O’Brien and Sarah Rogers. Nathan is a Senior Music Major from Carnesville, Georgia. He is a member of the Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, and the Gainesville First Baptist Wind Orchestra. Sarah is a Junior Contemporary Worship Major from Warner Robins, Georgia. She is a member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries Leadership Team, Community Choir, and the Tim Johnson Band. She is also the secretary of the Ministerial Association and plays flag football.

Freshmen members of the Homecoming Court included Early Childhood Education Major, Hannah Bullard from Lawrenceville, Christian Studies Major, Matt Caporale from Warner Robbins, Psychology Major, Brailey Lenderman from Roswell, and Music Major, Zac Smith from Dawsonville.

Representing the Sophomore class of the Homecoming Court was Music Education Major, Allison Rice from Perry, Christian Studies Major, Cory Smith from Gainesville, Christian Studies Major, Benjamin Garrison from Henry County, and Amber Lynn from Blairsville, who plans to pursue Pediatric Oncology.

The Junior class representatives included Early Childhood Education Major, Megan Burns from Carnesville, History Major, Jesse Norton from Douglasville, Meredith Jolly from Cumming, Mitchell Johnson from Flowery Branch, and Kason Moody from Snellville, who are all Christian Studies Majors. In addition, Christian Studies Major, Katie Lewis from Villa Rica represented the Senior class.
