Cleveland, GA – On Thursday, October 17th, following Campus Coffee, students flocked to the Student Wellness Center to join in on the Mission and Ministry Job Fair. The goal was to get a variety of ministries, missions’ agencies, or churches who are looking to hire prospective students in the upcoming months to come to school and showcase their organization or agency. TMU partnered with Levi Fangmann of Strong Rock Camp to put on the event. Thirteen camps and ministries participated, including:
- Abwe Go
- ELIC
- Biblical Monistries Worldwide
- Camp Westminster
- Camp Crosspoint
- Woodland Christian Camp
- Woodlands Camp
- Camp Longridge
- Camp Arrowhead
- Venture of Faith Camp
- Camp Pinnacle

- Strong Rock Camp
Ethan Walker, International Office and World Missions Center Coordinator, wrote saying that, “The Missions and Ministries Job Fair provided an opportunity for students to explore potential job opportunities. We had a lot of great student participation and interaction with the representatives, and everyone seemed to be interested in learning more about the various ministry opportunities that were presented during the event. Hopefully, this event will result in more students being mobilized for ministry whether around the world or serving at a local summer camp or church, and we are looking forward to hosting more events like this in the future!”
Levi Fangmann added, “Truett is filled with so many Christian role models that are a perfect fit for the type of ministry camps do, and my goal has always been to mobilize as many young people as possible to fulfill the Great Commission. I believe if every Christian between the ages of 18-21 dedicated at least one summer to missions, every summer ministry in the world would have all the people they need.”
