Fox News’ Todd Starnes will host the second annual Faith and Freedom Celebration with guest speaker and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee along with gospel artist Jake Cowley on the Truett McConnell University (TMU) campus, Saturday, April 6.

Huckabee is the author of several best-selling books, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, a public speaker, and a political commentator on “The Huckabee Report.”

Huckabee ran for the Republican nomination in the 2008 and 2016 presidential elections, and eventually became one of President Donald Trump’s most ardent supporters. His daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, currently serves as White House Press Secretary.

The Faith and Freedom Celebration will take place in the university’s George Blaurock Student Wellness Center. Todd Starnes, columnist, author, and host of Fox News Radio’s “Todd Starnes Show” and Fox Nation’s “Starnes Country” will emcee this special event.

One hundred percent of proceeds will help fund the Empower the Call campaign which provides assistance for student mission trips, creates retention scholarships, and reduces missionary student debt, allowing TMU alumni who are currently on the mission field to remain and continue sharing the gospel message.

Event ticket options include: bleacher seating for $25 or table seating with dinner for $250. Dinner tables of eight are also available for $2,000 can also be reserved.

A dinner will be held at 5:15 p.m., followed by the program and a book signing.

To purchase tickets, or for more information, visit truett.edu/faithandfreedom or call the TMU office of Advancement at 706-865-2134, ext. 3801.
