WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?

It really is a small world.  During the last week in May, Dr. Mike Simoneaux, Vice President for Advancement Services at Truett-McConnell College, was on a mission trip in Argentina.  The day before the group came home, they spent a few hours in downtown Buenos Aires, doing some shopping and sightseeing.  In that huge city of 17 million people in the late afternoon, Dr. Simoneaux found a spot in front of a large shopping mall where he could just stand and watch the thousands of people hurrying by.  In the crowd he spotted Camilo Ochoa, a TMC graduate with a bachelor’s degree in music in the class of 2006.  Camilo is a native of Argentina and returned there after his graduation from TMC.  He is now married and has a one-year-old daughter.  Camilo was as surprised to see someone from TMC as Dr. Simoneaux was to see him in that sea of people.  The impact of Truett-McConnell College is spreading across the world!
