Cleveland, GA (April 20, 2011) – Truett-McConnell College congratulates the Dollar family, who won 104.7 The Fish “So You Think Your Family Can Sing” Contest.
The family members included TMC junior, Bailey Dollar, TMC ACCEL program member and high school senior, Mallory Dollar, their brother and sister, Brice and Macy Dollar, and their father, James Dollar, a TMC trustee and worship pastor at Concord Baptist Church.
The Dollars decided to enter the contest at the last minute, so it was a great surprise when within a week, their video had 4,000 views.
“All credit goes to the Lord. There was no way we could have had that many views and get everything together like we did without Him,” remarked Bailey Dollar.
The Dollars were one of two families picked to perform this weekend at Six Flags during Christian Music Weekend. Their set will be on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Both families will also receive a vacation in Orlando at Sky Resorts’ Hawthorn Suites Universal by Wyndham.
