The entire Truett-McConnell College family extends congratulations to Rev. William F. Harrell upon his recent retirement from 39 years of ministry at the Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez, Ga.

Rev. Harrell remains a stalwart example of the consummate churchman and compassionate Christian who has founded his life and ministry upon the infallible and inerrant Word of God, and whose unswerving commitment to the Lord and His Gospel has pointed thousands of people to the Cross, and hundreds of others toward salvation in Jesus Christ.

For a season of Rev. Harrell’s ministry, the Truett-McConnell College Trustee Board was both honored and privileged to enjoy this pastor’s insight, input and direction in his service to the college as a trustee.

While we are certain that Abilene Baptist Church will miss their beloved pastor, we are equally certain that Rev. Harrell has not retired from ministry. He will continually be about the Lord’s work, ever laboring for our Master’s Kingdom.

God bless you, Rev. Harrell, and Godspeed to you as you continue in whatever service the Lord holds for you.

Blessings,

Your Truett-McConnell College Family
