The speaker for missions day 2009 was Dr. H. Edward Pruitt, recently called as Directory of the World Missions Center at Truett-McConnell College. Dr. Pruitt received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary Dr. Pruitt has traveled to more than fifty countries sharing the gospel and has documented vast growth in the evangelical movement. His message, titled “The Costly Call”, covered three important points from the book he co-authored with Dr. Emir Caner.
