A New Format for Alumni Week 2008
Every year Truett-McConnell College rolls out the red carpet to celebrate the accomplishments of its alumni. This year the format for the event will be a bit different from previous years when Alumni Weekend was held in October.
This year Alumni Week will be a week-long celebration stretching from October 24 through November 1, 2008.
The events of the week of celebration are open to all alumni and include several events:

| Saturday, October 25 | Alumni Association Annual Business Meeting |
| Saturday, October 25 | Alumni Luncheon (featuring Outstanding Alumni Awards presentations) |
| Monday, October 27 | Alumni Speaker in Weekly BCM (formerly BSU) Meeting |
| Tuesday, October 28 – Thursday, October 30 | |
| Alumni Speakers in TMC Classes | |
| Thursday, October 30 | Alumni Speaker in Weekly College Chapel Service |
| Friday, October 31 | Another Class Reunion (tentatively scheduled) |
| Saturday, November 1 |
Annual TMC Homecoming Activities
(Basketball games will be the TMC Bears’ season-opener)

This time of year is traditionally the most beautiful week of the year for fall foliage in northeast Georgia. All alumni are urged to attend any of these scheduled events but especially the Saturday, October 25, events and the next Saturday also (November 1) for Homecoming activities.
Mark these dates now on your calendar, and begin making your plans to attend the festivities. All events are casual, and families are encouraged to attend.
