50’s

Marilyn Collier Haynie Burnham (’57) lost her 14-year-old grandson, Travis Haynie, when he suffered a seizure on Sunday, February 24, and passed away.  Marilyn and her husband, Jim Burnham, reside at 1205 Rosewood Court, Williamston, SC  29697; phone 864.847.1680; e-mail bur669@cs.com.

Charles (Mickey) Moore (’69) lives in Monroe, GA, where is owner of LuMic Digital Studios, an ultra highspeed computer network specialist for WCI in Alpharetta, GA, and choirmaster of Harmony Baptist Church, Monroe.

 

70’s

Connie Huff Allen (’76) and her husband, Doug Allen, live in Bayfield, Colorado.  They own and manage a cabin resort business northeast of Durango at Vallecito Lake called Eagle’s Nest Cabins and Homes.

 

80’s

Donald Allison (’81) of Cleveland was named president of the Mountain Valley Community Bank in Cleveland on January 10, 2008.  He has served as Executive Vice President of the bank since it opened almost three years ago.  Before that he was Executive Vice President of United Community Bank of White County.  He is married to the former Rose Mariee Knight (’84), and they have two adult sons.

 

90’s

Johnathan W. Gray (’94) of Sharpsburg, GA, received his Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary’s Billy Graham School of Missions, Church Growth and Evangelism in December 2007.  The title of his ministry project for his doctorate was “A Strategic Plan to Motivate Georgia Baptists to Endow the Cooperative Program of the Georgia Baptist Convention,” the research for which will be helpful to him in his position as Director of Development in the Central Georgia area for the Georgia Baptist Foundation.  Johnathan is married to the former Andrea Folsom (’88), and they are the parents of three daughters and a son.  He is serving currently as president of the Truett-McConnell Alumni Association.

Cassie Taylor (’95) is in school studying to become a certified medical transcriptionist.  She will complete her studies and begin work in October 2008.  She lives in Cartersville, GA.

Celeste Holdredge (’97) was married to Randy Vance on October 27, 2007, and became step-mother to Erica and Kenzie.  Celeste is worship leader at Luthersville Baptist Church and also works at a bank in Luthersville, GA, where the family resides.

Ryan Casey (’99) and his wife, Crystal Rowe Casey (’00), announce the birth of a second daughter, Lillian Rae Casey, on December 13, 2007.  Lillian joins big sister, Hannah, 3.

 

00’s

Davis W. King, Jr. (’00) married Jill Gillespie (a UGA graduate) on August 18, 2007, in Carillon Beach, FL.  The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  They reside in the Albany area and have four dogs.  Davis is CEO of King Enterprises & Associates, Inc., in Albany, a health care provider.

Jennifer McCombs Rickman (’00) and her husband, Brent, announce the birth of a daughter, Addison Grace Rickman, on September 13, 2007.  The Rickmans live in Dalton, GA.

Anna Fletcher Heatherly (’01) and her husband, Eric Heatherly (attended 97-99), welcomed Frank Edward Heatherly II to their family on January 11, 2007.  After Anna left TMC, she redeived her bachelor’s degree in psychology and management from DePaul University, with honors.  She works for Chesterfield County Commissioners’ Office in Chesterfield, VA, where Eric is pro-desk manager at Home Depot.  The Heatherly family resides at 25115 Wayne Avenue, Petersburg, VA  23803.

David and Kristen Nowak Parker (’02) announce the birth of a son, Logan David Parker, on October 1, 2007, weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces.  The Parkers reside in Hoschton, GA.

Henry Peabody (’05) is currently enrolled in Villanova University in Pennsylvania to complete a master’s degree in behavioral analysis.  He is also employed with the Northwestern Human Services as a certified addiction counselor and serves as interim pastor for the First International Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ.  Henry resides in Levittown, PA.
