Dear TMU Students,
Greetings, everyone! I hope this email finds you well and at home resting in the Lord (Nahum 1:7). As we begin the online race to the end of the semester, let’s do so together.
I will be available for English tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 to 4:00 via email and the chat option in Microsoft Teams (email@example.com). If you are still working outside the home or sharing a computer with someone who works online and need to meet on a different day, send me an email letting me know your times of availability so that I can schedule an appointment for you. Please remember that all correspondence should be sent through your Truett email.
If you need assistance editing and revising a writing assignment, please send a Word copy of your draft ahead of time (at least 24, but preferably 48, hours prior to your submission deadline). In your email, include your student ID, course name and number, instructor’s name, and all relevant assignment guidelines, including the submission deadline. I will send revision suggestions via Track Changes. If you have questions regarding any of my comments, we can set up a meeting in Microsoft Teams to go over the paper together.
Please email specific English or style guide questions (MLA, APA, or Turabian), and I will send a reply as promptly as I can. If you need assistance setting up a paper in a particular style guide, send a Word copy of your paper and I will set up a meeting for us in Microsoft Teams. Teams will allow us to view and format your document together in Word.
For your convenience, I have attached a file with instructions for accessing Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions or problems accessing the app, send me an email. This program is an exciting new option; let’s learn how to use it together. In all things, may God be praised.
