Truett McConnell University invites homeschool juniors and seniors to an unforgettable day and evening designed just for them—featuring a Homeschool Preview Day, family dinner, and a formal prom celebration. The event will take place on Saturday, April 18, on TMU’s campus in Cleveland, Georgia.
Whether you’re exploring college options or celebrating a milestone year, this event is designed to honor the unique homeschool journey while welcoming families into the TMU community.
A Full Day Designed for Students & Families
Homeschool Preview Day
Hosted by TMU Admissions, students will:
Participation in Preview Day is encouraged but not required to attend prom.

While students attend prom, families are invited to:
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Check-in for Accepted Students and Homeschool Preview Day (Nix Student Center)
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch for Accepted Students Day Event
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Accepted Students Day Chair Fair in the Harris Athletic Complex (HAC)
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Explore campus with guided tours from HAC, with early arrival Homeschool Prom check-in available at the Nix Student Center
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Designated area to get ready for prom at the Nix Student Center
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Formal photos around campus
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Childcare check-in for siblings ages 6–14 at the Student Wellness Center (SWC)
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Door entry and check-in for Homeschool Prom, prom dinner and dance for students in the Harris Athletic Complex (HAC), and a sit-down dinner with special guest speakers for families in Carol Anne’s Café
Admission to the event is free, but pre-registration is required.
Homeschool students and families are encouraged to come enjoy a day of making new friends, celebrating achievements, and dancing the night away at Truett McConnell University.
