Olivia Knox

Biography

Olivia Knox is Level II Intern at the Truett McConnell University Counseling Center. She currently lives in Habersham County. Olivia has an undergraduate degree from Emmanuel College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has been officially working in the psychology field since 2016. Along with working part-time at Truett, she is a full-time employee at Avita Community Partners. Olivia has always had a passion for wanting to help people. God has continued to lead her back to this career path and she is grateful he did. She likes to take a CBT-based approach that works on reconstructing negative and destructive thinking and turning it to a more positive and productive mindset. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her church family, reading, going to concerts, relaxing at home, and playing video games with her siblings. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 139:14, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” This verse reminds Olivia that she is worthy and intended.
