The Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies provides students the biblical and missional foundations essential to a fruitful life of intercultural disciple making through one’s vocational ministry calling for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Today’s globalized, multicultural world presents unique challenges to students pursuing careers that center on making the Great Commission a reality in their lives as well as the lives of others whom they serve. This degree addresses these challenges by integrating rigorous classroom learning with directed missional ministry experience outside the classroom. Upon graduation, students will be well prepared for career employment in their chosen field of service or to pursue graduate level studies.
Three concentrations are currently available which are listed under the degree requirements. Each offers tailored classroom study, field research, and local/international missional training according to the student’s ministry focus and interests. Hands on ministry with various cultures and peoples enables students to grow in Christlikeness through improving intercultural ministry skills and knowledge.
The World Mission Center is an integral part of the Global Studies degree program.
