The Paige and Dorothy Patterson Spring 2023 Lecture Series
Challenges to Biblical Manhood and Womanhood
We live at a time when the biblical notion of manhood and womanhood is openly and persistently challenged. While this attack on God’s perfect creation goes back to almost the beginning of time (before satan challenged the veracity of the Word of God in Genesis 3, he challenged the Biblical notion of manhood and womanhood), today’s challenges seem to be taking a plethora of forms. It therefore behooves the people of God to think through these challenges Biblically. In this year’s Paige and Dorothy Patterson Spring Lecture Series, we will do just that: ethicists, theologians, and a New Testament scholar will guide us through how to think Biblically about these challenges and how the churches are called to respond to them.
