Biography

Stacie Ward is a lifelong resident and graduate of White County Schools. She is an active member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church, where she serves as a musician.

Before retiring in 2021 as Principal of Jack P. Nix Elementary School, Stacie spent her entire career within the White County School System, serving as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. She continues to stay involved by volunteering as a judge for the White County Spelling Bee and serving as a caller for the Jack P. Nix Elementary Spelling Bee.

In retirement, Stacie enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her granddaughters, and deepening her walk with the Lord through Bible study. In 2024, she joined TMU’s Walpot School of Education as a lecturer and supervising professor and now serves as the Elementary and Middle Grades Program Coordinator.
