Biography
Lindsey Schaffer is a Psychology Lecturer and is the Program Assistant for the Leonhard Schiemer School of Psychology and Biblical Counseling. She teaches undergraduate psychology and counseling courses and supports academic program operations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Truett McConnell University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Liberty University.
Her academic interests focus on the integration of psychology and theology. She is committed to providing students with a strong grounding in psychological theory and practice through a Christian worldview. In addition, she is interested in research in the area of pastoral mental health, with particular attention of the effects of forced termination and resignation on both the pastor and his family.
Outside of her academic responsibilities, Lindsey enjoys serving in ministry alongside her husband, who is the Family Minister at their church, as well as reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
