Carson Clayton

Biography

Carson Clayton is a counseling center intern. She currently resides with her husband in Johns Creek, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Truett McConnell University. She has had an interest in psychology ever since she took a psychology course while duel enrolled at Truett. She finds people’s personalities and brains so fascinating, and she has always been the person who her friends sought advice from. She is passionate about helping people understand themselves more and see more clearly why they do the things they do and what to do with their emotions. She wants to help others honor the Lord in all that they do as they grow in having healthier minds. In the future she would love to work with teenagers and young adults, as she understands just how difficult those seasons of life are. Her favorite Bible passage is Psalm 23. This passage has become her favorite passage of scripture over the past several years as she has walked through circumstances that led her to beg the Lord to show her how He is her comforter and that she has all that she needs in Him. It is a passage she prays over herself and those she loves regularly. If she ever doesn’t know what to read, she will most likely find herself in Psalm 23, resting in the Lord’s gentle guidance and provision for her life.
