Biography

Kelly Edwards, MSN, RN, is an Associate Professor of Nursing who views teaching as both a calling and a joy. She is passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel welcome, respected, and confident in the abilities God has given them. Kelly loves seeing “lightbulb moments” as students grow in skill and understanding, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside them as they discover and pursue their purpose in nursing.

Grounded in her faith, Kelly strives to meet students where they are, extending grace while maintaining high expectations that help shape them into highly qualified, compassionate nurses. Her teaching style blends hands-on learning, real-world community connections, and meaningful conversations about service, calling, and character.

Outside the classroom, Kelly enjoys hiking, decorating, and traveling with her husband.
