Dr. Jerico Vasquez will give a recital on the Truett McConnell University campus on Thursday, October 12 at 7:00 pm in the Sewell-Plunkett Chapel.  Dr. Vasquez is Artist-in-residence and Coordinator of the Keyboard Studies at Shorter University.  He has performed as concerto soloist, as a recitalist, and as a chamber musician in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Philippines.  The Santa Barbara News Press acclaimed him as a pianist of “intelligent ardor and exceptionally clear and bright technique.”  One of the pieces included in the program will be George Crumb’s A Little Suite for Christmas, A.D. 1979.
