The Missions Catalyst Event in October will be focused on the poor. As a large theme for our WMC this year is “the least of these”, we wanted to dedicate an entire event for our students to hear from various speakers from several organizations which are working locally and globally among the poorest peoples in the name of Jesus. Students will be able to experience through a simulation what it feels like on a small scale to live in poverty, and they will learn how missionaries are working to sustainably reverse the cycle of poverty while they make disciples. We will have next steps available for students who wish to go deeper in this type of service locally and globally.

The event is open to all TMU students, faculty, and staff.

The event is free, and light refreshments will be provided.
