Biography

Nell was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama.  She moved to Gainesville, Georgia to attend Brenau University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree.  Nell worked for NGHS in mental health and later transferred to Laurelwood where she was a psychiatric social worker. Nell has been with TMU for twenty five years in a teaching capacity as well as TMU’s American Disability’s Act Director.

Nell has two sons, Matthew and Nicholas Hoyle. Matthew is a local attorney and Nicholas is pursuing his MBA at TMU.  Nell raised both of her sons in Cleveland, Georgia.  Both of her boys were raised on the TMU campus and TMU holds a special place in the hearts of this family.
Nell has held many positions in her church from Sunday School Teacher, Acolyte Coordinator and Vacation Bible School.  Nell was a member of Phi Mu Social Fraternity and has remained active as an alumni.  She is a past member of The Junior League and various other clubs/organizations.
Nell enjoys reading, shopping, movies, talking, spending time with her family and friends.  She rarely meets a stranger.  Nell is thankful to be a child of God and celebrates this joy on a daily basis.
