Biography
Amy Harbst comes from a family that values faith and higher education, so it is only natural that she would become a professor at Truett McConnell University. Dr. Harbst has a B.A. in Education from the University of Kentucky and a J.D. from the University of Louisville. During her career as an attorney, she worked in a variety of roles, including: a prosecuting attorney, a criminal defense attorney, a staff attorney for the Attorney Grievance Commission for the Supreme Court of Michigan, and a family law attorney. At the present time, she has a few cases in Juvenile Court representing parents or children. Dr. Harbst, her husband, Tom, and their daughter, Audrey, live in Cleveland with two dogs and two cats. Dr. Harbst has two goals for her students: become interested in the law and believe that God loves them.
