Do I have to pay in full when I register?

If you register on or after the established payment due date, you must pay the full amount at the time of registration.

When is my payment ot the college due?

Registered students must pay at least 10% of the estimated cost of attendance (ECOA), after financial aid is applied, or have a payment plan with Sallie Mae on or before July 31, 2009. If payment or payment plan has not been secured, student may have classes dropped by the Registrar’s Office.   Truett-McConnell College can only project an estimated cost of attendance once all financial aid documents have been submitted and reviewed to the Financial Aid Office.   Please make sure that all required documents are turned in by July 31st.

If a student registers after July 31, 2009, a payment of 10% of the cost of attendance (COA), after financial aid is applied, is required immediately upon registration.

Students who have not registered or have not made payment arrangements (10% of COA or payment plan) on or before Freshman move-in day, will be denied permission to move into a residence hall or to attend classes until registration and payment/ payment plan has been secured.

All students who have not paid or secured payment of 100% COA on the day prior to the start of the semester will be dropped from classes.  Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, provided the student has completed and turned in all proper financial aid documentation and student and/or family have met with the Director of Financial Aid.

What if I receive financial aid? Do I have to pay in full by the due date?

You are responsible for paying your bill in full, less any approved financial aid. To meet the required deadlines, it is critical to apply for financial aid early and to respond to any request for information from the Financial Aid Office as quickly as possible.
