OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR
The role of the Registrar's Office is to support the academic mission of Truett-McConnell College. This office coordinates activities for efficient course registration, maintenance and protection of academic records, and certification of students for continued enrollment and for graduation. The office maintains, interprets, and monitors academic policy and communicates procedures to faculty and to students. The Registrar's Office is dedicated to academic advising and course planning to help students fulfill educational and personal goals. The Registrar's Office also supports the college's external reporting requirements, as well as its institutional research and academic planning activities. This is performed by maintaining a comprehensive database of student academic and demographic information.
Graduation Application
All students must declare their intent to graduate by submitting a completed Graduation Application to the Registrar's Office no later than January 3 in the academic year they plan to graduate. The Graduation Application Enrollment Verification Students who need enrollment verification letters for health insurers, housing providers, or other organizations requiring proof of their enrollment may complete and submit the Request for Enrollment Verification Form. Transcripts If a student wishes to secure a transcript of grades or requests the College to send such a transcript to any individual or institution, application in writing must be made to the Registrar's Office. Transcript requests should include: name, address, and social security number of the student; the address the transcript should be mailed to; approximately when the student attended Truett-McConnell; and the student's signature. The Transcript Request Form is available from the internet. Transcript requests may be mailed to the Registrar's Office at 100 Alumni Drive, Cleveland, GA 30528. Please enclose cash or money order - checks are not accepted. Transcript requests may be faxed to the attention of the Registrar's Office at 706-865-7615. Faxed requests may be paid for by calling the college Business Office at 706-865-2134 Ext. 114. Transcripts are not issued until payment has been made. See Transcript Request Form above for fees. No grade information is given over the telephone. Official transcripts will not be issued for any student whose account with the college is not clear.
Clep Test Credit Truett McConnell College will grant Clep Test Credit. For further information on individual tests, please contact the registrar's office. Clep tests centers can be found on the CollegeBoard website.
