Truett-McConnell College offers a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies for those who desire to serve the Lord vocationally. Besides the foundational skills required of every baccalaureate student, the program develops the foundational aptitudes for ministry: understanding and communicating the word of God. This program is both academically rigorous and spiritually formative. To enable our students to minister within their vocational calling, the basic program is divided into three concentrations.
Concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies
The Concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies prepares students for the pastorate or for further education at a seminary or other graduate- level program. The curriculum focuses on the biblical text, theological studies, language skills, and practical ministry.
Concentration in Student Ministry
The Concentration in Student Ministry prepares students for ministering to high-school and college-level students. The curriculum focuses on the basic biblical and theological disciplines with an additional emphasis in ministering to students.
Concentration in Missions
The Concentration in Missions prepares students for evangelism and ministry in a variety of cultural and religious settings both foreign and domestic. The curriculum focuses on the basic theological disciplines with an additional emphasis in understanding and communicating the gospel cross-culturally.
